Demetri crafting one of over forty custom ear rigs for Theatre UCF's 2024 Celebrates the Arts production, Sweeney Todd.
Born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, Demetri moved to Orlando, Florida in 2022 to study theatre at the University of Central Florida with a focus on design and technology. Over the past three years Demetri has developed skills in multiple areas of technical production and design through coursework and on a variety of Theatre UCF productions.
Notable credits include: Assistant Projections Designer (One Man, Two Guvnors), Sound Designer (Go Like Saints), A2 (The Prom, Sweeney Todd) and Programmer (The Last Firefly).
With a combined passion for visual arts, music, and live performance—and a strong foundation in art, design, technology, and collaboration—Demetri is building a career by working with others to create captivating theatre productions, memorable concert experiences, and immersive themed environments through lighting, sound, video, and scenic design.
While still pursuing his studies, Demetri has also spent the last year working professionally with Central FL Community Arts as an audio technician in their Youth Theatre, Upbeat, and Stage 55 programs. In his free time Demetri enjoys spending time with cats, making art, listening to music, and browsing the internet.
